PRICING

-
Every body, and every tattoo is unique; which is why you won’t often see artists giving out flat rates or cookie-cutter pricing charts. Instead, most of us quote each piece individually, based on its specific details.
That said, I know this can sometimes feel awkward or unclear when you’re trying to figure out what to expect. I put this page together to help make things more transparent, so that way there will be no surprises.

WHAT AFFECTS THE PRICE?

Size & Placement
Some areas of the body take more time or care.
Detail Level
The more intricate the design, the more hours involved.
Colour Work
Colour tattoos often require more time than black & grey.

AFTERCARE

-
Congratulations on your new tattoo!
Proper aftercare is key to making sure your piece heals beautifully and lasts for years. Please read this guide carefully and refer back to it as needed.

DAY 1–5: BANDAGE CARE

You’ve been wrapped with a bandage (commonly known as Second Skin or Saniderm.) This protects your tattoo from bacteria and helps jump-start the healing process. How long to keep it on:
3–5 days is recommended, unless you experience irritation (see below).
︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵

REMOVING THE BANDAGE

Remove your bandage slowly and carefully in a warm shower. The steam will help loosen the adhesive.Steps:
• Pull the bandage upwards and slowly (not straight across your skin).
• Wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and unscented soap.
• Pat dry with a clean towel (no rubbing).
• Apply a thin layer of unscented moisturizer (Dove or Cerave are safe options).
︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵

WHAT IF...

The bandage starts peeling?
In some cases, the adhesive can lose effect and expose the tattoo.
My skin is reacting to the bandage?
If you notice redness around the edges of the bandage (not the tattoo itself), this is an adhesive sensitivity.
If you have experienced either:
• Remove the bandage early
• Follow the standard cleaning and moisturizing steps
• Your tattoo will still heal properly without the bandage

HEALING TIPS

Think of your tattoo like a wound or scab (because that’s exactly what it is right now!)Avoid:
• Picking or scratching (if it itches, gently slap it instead)
• Soaking (no baths, pools, hot tubs, or lakes for 1 month)
• Dirty environments (keep it clean and dry)
• Sun exposure (UV can damage a healing tattoo. keep it covered!)
︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵

HEALING SIDE EFFECTS

During healing, you may experience:
• Dryness or flaking
• Itchiness
• Scabbing (light to moderate)
• Temporary color changes or line blurriness
• A “milky” or dull look while your skin regenerates
This is all part of the healing process. Most tattoos settle fully by week 4.︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵

THE 4 WEEK MARK

Your tattoo should be mostly settled into the skin by now! Around the 4 week mark, we will follow up with each other via email and you will be instructed to send healed photos. This way we can assess how it has healed!I can't wait for you to show your tattoo off now. >:3Note: Sometimes flaking or texture can still occur around this mark. That's okay! Some bodies/tattoos heal longer than others.︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵

TOUCH UP CRITERIA

Normal Healing:
• Lines look slightly softened and diffused (this is good, it means your tattoo has settled into your skin)
• Tattoo looks part of your skin, as opposed to it "sitting on top" when fresh.
Possible Touch-Up Needed:
• Patchy color or shading
• Lines that healed thinner or lighter in some areas
Healing can vary due to skin type, placement, or even just your body doing weird body things. Don’t worry! Shoot me an email and I would be happy to schedule a free junior artist touch up.︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵

ALTERNATIVE WRAPPING

If I gave you a backup bandage:
A backup bandage may be given if it as a heavier piece.
• Keep the first bandage on for 24 hours or until excessive fluid builds up.
• Remove it, clean and dry the tattoo following the instructions above.
• Apply bandage - Follow this video tutorial if needed
• Keep the second bandage on for the remainder of the 3–5 day period.
-
If You Were Wrapped in Saran Wrap:
Sometimes Saran Wrap is used for large pieces or adhesive allergies.
• Keep the wrap on until the next day.
• If fluid builds up, remove it, wash and dry the tattoo, and rewrap if needed.
• After 24 hours, transition to regular washing and moisturizing.
